ANNIE TARPLEY BIO - FOUNDER HISTORY & HAUNTS

Annie Tarpley is founder of History & Haunts paranormal research and investigative team . She also travels to haunted locations  with her Not So Normal Paranormal Sisters.

Annie's first ghostly encounter was when she was about 8 years old at which time she experienced her first shadow figure in the family home in rural South Carolina.

Since the shadow figure encounter,  Annie has always felt, heard and seen spirit .  Until the last 12 - 15 years she kept most of what she experienced to herself or close friends. With the advent of paranormal shows, the uncommon has become common.  She decided to come out of the paranormal closet to share her experiences, conduct investigations and become a true historic researcher.  She and her team take pride in knowing that their findings have many times connected the dots with historic documentation and alleged  hauntings.

Annie, along with  her team of professionals, have conducted well over 100 investigations both in private homes  and public buildings .  In June of 2017, Annie ,  visited the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado which is the setting for the Steven Kings novel “The Shining”.    She and her Not So Normal Paranormal Sisters  have visited, over the last 4 years, at least 15 haunted  locations including staying at haunted Inns , Bed and Breakfasts, ghost towns,  asylums, hospitals and Civil War areas.  These haunted excursions have been  to West Virginia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New York, Tennessee, South Carolina, Michigan, Colorado, Nevada, Wyoming, Colorado  and of course their home State of Ohio.  The History & Haunts team specialize in local (Ohio) historic research with a more in depth investigation using psychic and scientific methods.

Annie has written a book about a three day investigation conducted at the  Resaca Civil War battlefield in Georgia.   Her painstaking historic searches , over the course of a year,  connected the dots which started as a paranormal investigation and psychic feelings. Through her efforts , a long lost Confederate soldier finally found his way to his family after 150 years.  His name and his burial have all been documented .  The book is yet to be released as it is in rewrite at the moment.

Annie has been heard on internet radio ,  Haunted Voices Radio, Gang of Girls Radio, Awakening the Unknown. She and her team have had write ups in local newspapers, and Parazine Magazine.   History & Haunts was the premiere team that conducted history and ghost walks in Erie County, Ohio . Annie"s humorous , eerie but  factual tales and  historic accounts  have always been a big hit with guests. She and her team are seen monthly during the summer at Malabar Farm Night Haunts. Team members Cathy and Barry Moneysmith currently head up the ghost investigation at Brownella Cottage in Galion, Ohio.  Mark Jordan is a published author and playwrite and  has been seen on Ghost Hunters and Mystery at the Museum.

Annie and her Not So Normal Paranormal  sisters were seen recently on  Destination Americas  show "Terror in the Woods"  Halloween Fright Night 2017.  Annie and her  sisters  (Mary Beth and Amy)  were  highlighted with a factual ghostly encounter they experienced in 2011.  Currently she and her sister Mary Beth  are working with another international  T.V. show which in  production to  air in 2018.*******
